Maverick Software Consulting will be featured in an upcoming cable reality TV show highlighting the best startup businesses outside of Silicon Valley. Robert X. Cringely, author of the technology blog "I, Cringely" (http://www.cringely.com), has launched a plan to restart America called, “Cringely's (NOT in Silicon Valley) Startup Tour." Cringely is looking for the best and brightest U.S. companies, particularly those outside of Silicon Valley, Boston, Seattle, and other “technical hotbeds,” to encourage the idea that innovation can happen anywhere.
Robert X. Cringely, launched an online contest several weeks ago to identify top 24 startup companies from around the nation in six different categories. Maverick Software Consulting made the final cut beating out nearly 400 other nominations. Maverick Software Consulting will now be part of a 12-hour cable reality TV series which will be on a BIG cable channel, one you have actually heard of that does not include the word “shopping” in its name.
On Monday July 26th, Bob and Mary Alyce Cringely’s stopped by the Maverick Software Consutling offices in Minneapolis. They spent the day learning about the company and the television cameras captured all of it.
