The office at Minnesota State University, Mankato has been providing real-world experience to students since 2006. In the summer of 2009, the office nearly doubled in size to 2000 square feet.

Students at this location gain in-depth experience that consists of:
Students participate in an agile development process including daily scrums, regular standups, planning and iteration retrospective meetings and interface functionality demonstrations
Students learn to communicate with diverse audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge, learning to ask questions and provide information based on who they are interacting with. Communicating through various mediums gives the opportunity to improve written, verbal, and presentational skill sets.
Students implement and expand on the knowledge gained in classes by creating and maintaining code bases for large scale development and quality assurance teams. They work in a variety of languages and technologies including: Java, C#, Ruby, JavaScript, SQL, XML, regex, Selenium, TFS, and Git.
Students are given the opportunity to interact with co-workers globally, developing an understanding of how to communicate with diverse groups and individuals.
