Marty Hebig, co-chair of the Minnesota Aspirations for Women in Computing award committee talked about the growing shortage of IT talent and how the award encourages high school women to look at IT as a possible career, introduces them to leadership opportunities in the field and generates visibility for women"s participation in computing-related pursuits.
