Collection of your Personal Information

We collect information in two ways:

• Information you provide. If you contact us, we collect the details you send, such as your name, email address, phone number, company, and message. If you apply for a position through our application form, we collect your name and contact details, your school or university and education details, your answers to application questions, and the resume or other documents you upload.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, access times, and the referring website. We use this information to operate the site, maintain quality of service, and protect it against abuse. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Use of your Personal Information

We use the information you provide for the purpose you provided it: to respond to your inquiry, to evaluate your job application and contact you about it, and to operate, secure, and improve our website and services. We contact you only in connection with your inquiry or application unless you ask us to do otherwise, and we use information as needed to meet our legal obligations.

Use of Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies and similar browser storage: they keep you signed in when you use our dashboard and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies. You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings, though signing in to the dashboard will not work without them.

Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these circumstances:

• Service providers. Our website and data are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which stores information — including uploaded resumes — and delivers our email on our behalf. Our job application form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam and abuse; Cloudflare processes technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics to tell people from bots.
• Background checks. If you apply and advance in our hiring process, we may ask for your authorization to run a background check through Checkr, a consumer reporting agency. You will receive a separate disclosure and give written consent before any check is ordered, as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
• Our clients. As a talent development company, we may share relevant professional information about candidates with employer clients in connection with potential placements.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our services.

Some job openings are listed on an external careers site operated by BambooHR; applications submitted there are governed by BambooHR's own privacy policy.

Where Information is Processed

Maverick is based in the United States. No matter where you are located, you consent to the processing and transferring of your information in and to the U.S. The laws of the U.S. governing data collection and use may not be as comprehensive or protective as the laws of the country where you live.

Data Retention

We keep contact inquiries for as long as needed to handle them. We retain job applications and resumes so we can consider you for the position you applied to and for future openings, and as required to meet our legal obligations. Employment records for people we hire are retained as described in the Employee & Applicant Privacy Notice.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information provided via our services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No Internet transmission is ever fully secure, however, and email in particular may not be secure — so please take care in deciding what information you send us by email.

Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by emailing mhebig@mavericksoftware.com with the words "Personal Data Request" in the subject or body of your message. We will honor deletion requests to the extent the law allows; some records, such as employment and tax records, must be retained for legally required periods.

Children

Our services are for users age 18 and over and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under the age of 18 and believe he or she has disclosed personal information to us, please contact us at mhebig@mavericksoftware.com. If we learn that we hold information from such users, we will take reasonable measures to promptly remove it from our records.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our own website and services. Our site contains links to other websites — such as BambooHR and our social pages — that we do not operate or control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit through those links.

Employees, Contractors, and Advancing Candidates

If you work for Maverick, or you are a candidate moving through our hiring process, we collect and manage additional information about you — including payroll, background check, and employment records. That information is covered by our Employee & Applicant Privacy Notice.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Please review this policy periodically, and especially before you provide any information. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your agreement with the revised policy.
