Mankato Mavericks Moving On To Full-Time Careers with Thomson Reuters

Maverick Software Consulting partners with clients and creates a pipeline of talent, making it easy to hire and work with highly qualified IT students. Each semester, Maverick interns graduate with approximately two years of experience working for a specific client. Students gain invaluable experience with their clients' technologies, processes and culture and may be extended a full-time offer upon graduation. This upcoming May, four of Mankato’s Mavericks will be graduating and going on to Thomson Reuters to work full-time.

• Kate Sram has been with Maverick since August 2013. She is a Computer Information Technology major with a minor in Arts focusing on Graphic Design and Web Design/User Experience. She will be doing Software Engineering for Thomson Reuters.

• Andrew Schewe has been with Maverick for two years. He is an Information Technology major with a Technical Communications minor and will be doing Software Engineering for Thomson full-time.

• Alex Larson has been with Maverick for a year and a half. He is an Information Systems major who will most likely be doing QED and testing for Thomson.

• Will Ahern has been with Maverick for two years. He is a Computer Information Technology major with a minor in Communication Studies and will also be doing Software Engineering for Thomson Reuters.
